Wonderful small restaurant with personal service and excellent food, well presented. They responded to all of our requests without question. The portions were large and delicious. The octopus was cooked to perfection. The lasagna was not what someone from the USA might expect. The cheese was softer and much less tomato, but still tasty. House wine is excellent and the cherry liquor after the meal really hit the spot. Ate here four nights running- perfect grilled fish ( so good in Portugal) fun old school deserts and a busy, local atmosphere. A great place! The garlic carrots and olives to start with are so delicious with the bread and sardine pate. For starters I had the homemade fish soup which was devine (especially with the bread dipped in!) and my partner had the grilled mushrooms with chorizo which came out sizzling hot and was such a tasty starter. I then had the delicious Chicken breast steak with garlic and piri-piri which came with fries and salad. My partner had the Grilled Tuna Steak with garlic and olive oil. The fish fell apart with the touch of the fork and it was a mouth watering taste. We managed to squeeze in some dessert with the chocolate cake and caramel vianetta which topped off a magical meal. This is the best food you can find in the Algarve, served by the nicest family. I couldn't recommend this place more. A must visit! Esta é a melhor comida que se pode encontrar no Algarve, servida pela família mais simpática. Eu não poderia recomendar mais este lugar. Uma visita obrigatória!
